Docs / Ask

Ask the substrate.

The wiki you're reading is the seed. The real magic is that everything here can be queried. Type a question. The LLM reads the verified docs, peeks at the candidate drafts, opens the relevant files, and answers in Apiary's voice.

Coming soon

The substrate query endpoint is live in v0.1 of the wiki. For now, use the helper chat with a docs-mode system prompt — it has the same context, just a different surface.

Example questions

Things the substrate already knows how to answer.

  • Why does Apiary use BYO-LLM instead of a built-in provider?
  • Walk me through how the committee handles a tie vote.
  • What's the difference between a brain region and a sector?
  • How does the founder console enforce a budget cap?
  • How do session budgets actually save money?
  • What is the foundation team and what does each agent do?

Why an LLM-powered wiki?

  • Always fresh. The LLM re-reads the codebase on every answer. No drift.
  • Speaks in voice.Trained on Apiary's tone. No corporate doc-speak.
  • Self-improving. Founder stamps the good answers as verified; bad ones get rewritten.
  • Doubles as training data. Every verified answer is a row in the future apiary-llama dataset.
