AI-assisted practical guide. Examples are hypothetical; proposed workflows are editorial suggestions.
Reorganizing a report can improve readability without changing its evidence. Ask the assistant to propose a structure and map existing passages into it before requesting a full rewrite.
Build a source-to-outline map
Give sections or paragraphs stable references. Request a proposed outline showing where each source passage would move. Keep qualifications, definitions, and limitations connected to the claims they govern.
Ask the assistant to flag material that does not fit rather than delete it silently. A difficult passage may contain the exception the reader most needs.
Inspect a hypothetical move
Suppose a result is moved into the introduction while its sampling limitation remains near the end. The report may now sound more certain even though no sentence was removed. Bring the relevant limitation alongside the result or adjust the framing.
Check that tables, captions, and references still point to the correct material after the move.
Rewrite only where needed
Once the structure is accepted, edit transitions and repetition while preserving the evidence. Compare the result with the original map. Record any substantive omission or new claim for separate review. The successful outcome is a clearer route through the same supported material, with explicit decisions about changes. It is not a report that has become more persuasive because inconvenient context was separated from the statements it qualifies.
